Inclusive Paths
RESPECT & HONOR
A Tapestry of Traditions
Whether you follow a specific polytheistic path or simply feel interested in earth-centered spirituality, our network honors the unique spiritual heritage you bring. We create space for diverse practices to flourish side-by-side.
EXPLORATION
For the Questioning
You don't need all the answers to join us. We welcome students who are exploring, questioning, or finding their way.
COMMUNITY
An Inclusive Animistic Circle
Many members share animistic perspectives that view the natural world as spiritually meaningful. Our network fosters a community where this shared understanding brings us together, transcending individual paths to find common ground in respect for the sacredness of life and nature.
Land Acknowledgement
We respectfully acknowledge that we operate on the traditional lands of the Mississauga and Anishinaabeg. We honor the history and spiritual connection that Indigenous peoples have with this land, and we commit to walking a path of ongoing respect and reconciliation.
Durham College is situated on the territory covered by the Williams Treaties, signed by the Crown and seven First Nations: Alderville, Beausoleil, Curve Lake, Georgina Island, Hiawatha, Rama, and Scugog Island.
We encourage all students who wish to care for and honor the land to start with learning from and uplifting the Indigenous Nations who have stewarded these territories since time immemorial, and whose teachings continue to guide respectful relationship with the land today.
